Alexis hesitated for a moment, but then she opened the car door and got in.

She looked up after a while and asked, “What? Did he come looking for you?”
Leonel hesitated briefly, and then quietly explained to Alexis the incident with Serenity. This caused Alexis to frown in concern.
Alexis knew precisely what Serenity was up to.
Her primary motive was to tarnish Leonel’s reputation.
