As he spoke, he swiftly hurled the snowball in his hand towards Nathan, while Hilliard and Cyrus watched on.
The snowball landed right in front of Nathan, even staining his expensive black leather shoes with snow.
Nathan remained silent, supported by Cyrus. He deliberately ignored both the snowball and the strange man.
However, Cyrus grew increasingly irritated. After having Hilliard assist Nathan, he instructed the security guards at the lab entrance to apprehend the young couple.
The couple attempted to flee, but they were quickly apprehended by the security guards.
Cyrus cast a cold glance at them and ordered, “Take them to the police station. Inform the police that they maliciously harmed us and attempted murder. Their intentions are clear!”
“Yes, sir.”
With everything arranged, Cyrus turned around and walked away. Soon, he hopped into his car and drove back to N&L Fairy Land, disappearing into the snowy night.
Meanwhile, the young couple, after being taken to the police station, were promptly bailed out by the National Security Bureau.
The man who had thrown the snowball at Nathan now stood in Mekhi’s office.
“Sir, it looks like Nathan can’t see,” he reported.
Mekhi, suddenly alert, leaned forward in his chair.
“Are you certain?
You aren’t making a mistake?”
“Yes, he needs constant support while walking. He was wearing sunglasses and showed no reaction when I threw the snowball at him.

Resting his hands on the table and his chin on his hands, Mekhi exclaimed in surprise, “If he’s blind, how can he continue leading the National Security Bureau? The time has come for him to step down.”
The more he pondered, the happier Mekhi became.
“Such good news shouldn’t be kept to ourselves. Inform Mylo. As for what he wants to do, it’s none of my concern.”
As Hilliard and Cyrus were about to retreat to their respective rooms for rest, Nathan summoned them into his bedroom.
With a serious tone, Nathan declared, “Either Mylo or Mekhi orchestrated the entire incident at the lab entrance tonight. I suspect they are already aware that I’m blind.”
Hilliard and Cyrus refrained from arguing. Both of them were smart and could easily piece together the situation upon their return.
Nathan continued, “Regardless of who’s behind this, once they learn the truth, they won’t hesitate to sabotage me. I fear tomorrow’s surgery won’t go smoothly.”
Hearing this, Hilliard and Cyrus exchanged grim looks before directing their gaze back at Nathan.
