Chapter 1334

“She’s gorgeous and elegantly dressed, Like a celebrity.”
Lucinda immediately knew who the girl must be.
“That must be Noelle.
Maybe Cyrus told her to come.”
She glanced toward the kitchen and noticed Cyrus still occupied, not having returned with the wine yet.
“Never mind. I’ll go and bring her in.”
Graham agreed.

“Be careful,” Nathan cautioned.
Lucinda looked at him with concern in her eyes and walked outside to fetch Noelle.
As she neared the door, she spotted the girl from a distance.

However, when Lucinda got a clear view of her face, she froze and double-checked. When she got to the girl, she asked, “What brings you here?”
The woman’s ears perked up at the sound of Lucinda’s voice, and she stepped closer to face Lucinda with a soft smile gracing her beautiful face.
“Miss Simmons, it’s been ages. How’re you and Mr. Payne doing?”
“Oh, we’re all good. Don’t you have work today? Shouldn’t you be with your family then? Who allowed you in?”
“The bodyguards at the foot of the mountain let me through. Don’t misunderstand me, Miss Simmons. My endorsement contract with Payne Group is about to expire. I heard Mr. Payne was here, so I thought I’d come in person and talk to him about renewing it.”
Lucinda narrowed her eyes in disbelief.
“Miss Garrett, you’ve been a top actress for years. Now you have to personally hustle for business?
Where’s your agent?”
“Well, getting an endorsement contract with Payne Group isn’t a walk in the park, and I don’t think my agent can handle it. I don’t want to miss out on this money-making opportunity. So, here I am.”
Lucinda didn’t buy her words for a second.
If Valerie really knew about Nathan’s presence in Peace Mountain and wanted to see him, she must be incredibly well-informed.
Despite being barely twenty, Valerie seemed sharper and more cunning than her peer, Luisa.
Valerie turned her gaze towards the villa and remarked, “Miss Simmons, your whole family is together today. It’s quite lively. Mind if I join?”
“I’m sorry but it’s a family reunion. You’re not part of the family.”
