Lucinda gently coaxed, “I haven’t even had dinner yet. You brought me right back here, and now my stomach is growling. Come on, get up and cook something for me.”
He stubbornly replied, not budging an inch, “I’m accepting my punishment. I don’t have the time.”
He took out his phone and wanted to send a message.
“I’ll ask Luisa to cook up a meal for you and bring it here.”
Undeterred, she continued poking his shoulder persistently.
“But I want to eat the food you make. Plus, if Luisa shows up, Sonny will tag along. Won’t you get up then? You know he’ll secretly laugh at you if he sees you like this, right?”
Nathan paused his typing, pondering on her words.
But soon enough, a solution popped into his head.
“I’ll inform Sonny beforehand not to come, tell Luisa to deliver the dinner to the gate, and Rickey can bring it to the dining room for you.”

Nathan seethed with anger as he forcefully pulled her away.
