Lucinda was still trying to make sense of the situation when Nathan burrowed under the covers and tucked himself in.
He was acting odd tonight.
She lay her head on his outstretched arm.
“We haven’t seen each other these last few days. You’re finally back after so long. Why don’t I give you some relaxing massage?”
Nathan’s eyes remained closed, however, and she did not receive a response.
Lucinda was despondent.
