Seeing his reaction, Lucinda pressed on, “You’ve been instrumental in clearing up so many misunderstandings between Nathan and me. You’ve seen how we’ve slowly progressed. If you won’t tell me, I’ll have no choice but to accept Kyson’s terms. Is that really what you want to happen?”
