Susan raised her head and looked at Dr. Turner. After a moment, she took the glass of water and said, “Thank you, Dr. Turner.”
“It’s all right, Miss Salazar. I’m not sure what happened to you, but you should smile more often. Even if the sky falls down, those tall men will shoulder it for you.” He was not good at comforting people. He just came up with a basic sentence after thinking for a while. Feeling embarrassed, he rubbed the tip of his nose after saying that.
Susan only remained silent as she held the glass of water in her hand.
