Seeing the way Paige reacted, everyone around her realized that the ring was the key to her heart. They began to praise the ring one after another, claiming that they were jealous that Paige had such a loving and generous husband.
Paige was so elated that she forgot all about Lindsey.
Lindsey glared at Shelia angrily. If Shelia hadnt interrupted her, she couldve gotten closer to Paige. Lindsey adjusted her mood and set out to look for Paige in the hopes she could still strike up a conversation with the latter. After all, time was of the essence, and she couldnt waste this opportunity.
However, after taking just a few steps, someone rammed into her.
Lindsey, why dont you look where youre going? Shelia scolded, her voice sounding like nails on a chalkboard to Lindseys ears.
Lindsey pulled a long face. Shelia kept going out of her way to trouble her tonight. Did this stupid woman really take her as a pushover? Without saying a word, Lindsey took a step forward, digging her heel onto Shelias foot.

Lindsey smiled brightly at her and said, Shelia, why dont you look where youre going? Otherwise, your foot wouldnt have suddenly gotten in the way of my shoe!
Shelia was pissed, but knowing that her plan had been set in motion, she just smiled deviously.
