After taking a moment to cool off and think, I stepped forward to break up the ongoing argument. “Listen to me, guys. I understand your distrust of witches, but not all witches are the same. Like werewolves, there are both good and bad witches. Not every witch is out to do harm.”

Just then, Luis coughed up blood, drawing everyone’s attention to him.
Despite being severely injured by Debra, to the point where speaking caused him to cough up blood, Luis was determined to escalate the situation and target Debra when he saw my attempt at mediation might actually work.
“Caleb, don’t be deceived!” he exclaimed, feigning moral outrage.
“This must be part of some sinister plan by that wicked witch to gain your trust. She only saved you to secure a position of power and destroy the Thorn Edge Pack!”
