As I remained silent, Andrew interjected.
He spoke calmly, addressing Veronica. “Ms. Harrison, indeed, Debra was married, but they’re now divorced. She sought solace with me a few days ago. As for her child, its paternity does not matter to me. I love her, and thus, her child is mine.”
Andrew glanced in my direction. The light in his eyes was warm and captivating, like the sun, with a unique charm.
