Jennifer was taken aback when she saw Ariana’s appearance. Quickly, she pulled out her concealer to touch up Ariana’s makeup and teased with a sly smile, “Wow, look at those dark circles. Did you and Holden have a fun night?”
Ariana was caught off guard by Jennifer’s words. Pinching Jennifer’s waist, she retorted, “What are you talking about? I went straight to my room to sleep last night.”
Jennifer looked skeptical. Raising an eyebrow, she said, “Really? He couldn’t wait to ki*s you at the door yesterday. He just let you walk away after that?”
As Ariana blushed, recalling the previous night’s events, she wanted to change the subject. But when she Looked up, she noticed a red mark on Jennifer’s neck and couldn’t resist commenting, “And what about that mark on your neck? Did you and Adrian…”
When Jennifer heard this, she subconsciously covered her neck. Her face flushed in embarrassment. She couldn’t help but curse under her breath, “Adrian is such a shameless man. He is really good at playing the role of a rascal.”
When Ariana saw Jennifer like this, she couldn’t help guessing.
“ihat’s wrong? Did Adrian annoy you last night?”
Jennifer nodded and recounted the incident in a voice filled with indignation. “He climbed the balcony last night. My room is on the fourth floor, but he was not afraid of falling. I was about to fall asleep when I saw his head sticking out of the window. Can you imagine how terrifying it was? I was so startled that I almost threw the chair at him. Fortunately, I managed to restrain myself. Otherwise, he would have ended up in the hospital.”
Ariana imagined the scene, and she couldn’t help bursting into laughter.
After discussing Adrian, Jennifer asked, “Who could have taken those sneaky photos and uploaded them on social media? They really went trending last night. It must be someone from the show.”
She struggled to suppress her laughter and added, “The owner of the brick factory? I never expected to see someone poking fun at his family like that. It’s so hilarious!”
Ariana nodded in agreement. She also found the situation hilarious.
“I don’t know how he came up with that identity.”
While Jennifer and Ariana were chatting happily, they suddenly heard Adrian’s and Wilbert’s voices approaching from a distance.
Adrian held a pile of food in his hand. He approached Jennifer with a bright smile and greeted her warmly. “Jennifer, I brought you some fruits.”
Not to be outdone, Wilbert also smiled and said to Jennifer, “Jennifer, I brought you some snacks.”
