The man nodded and said, “They might have fallen into the sea. Our team and Shawn’s team were all searching, but we couldn’t find any trace of them.”

It looked like brighter days were ahead for him.

As he spoke, he held Sadie in his arms. “Ariana died with him. Everyone is happy, right?”
However, Sadie just sat there in a daze. It took her a long time to snap back to reality. She stared blankly ahead and mumbled, “Holden is really dead? How can that be?”
