Zayden’s laughter rang out softly, his amusement evident. “Enlighten me, Becker. What is it that they seek from me?” he inquired.
“Considering your extensive business portfolio, a gesture of sharing wouldn’t go amiss. Besides, we must consider the cunning nature of the board members. What if they perceive your reluctance as greed and refuse you?” Becker replied.

Zayden puffed on his cigar thoughtfully, understanding Becker’s point.

Zayden squinted his eyes, pausing a moment before nodding slowly. He set his cigar down and said, “I’ll think about it.”
Becker nodded in response, collected the documents, and stood up.

He said, “Alright, I’ve thought it over. I’m ready to transfer some of my holdings in Mistlyn to the Fredrick Group. But I expect over 90% approval at the shareholders’ meeting the day after tomorrow.”
On the other end of the Line, Becker quickly agreed, “No problem, Mr. Fredrick. You’re so generous; I’ll make sure everything runs smoothly. The future of the Fredrick Group is in your hands, and the profits will be a hundred times your investment.”
Becker buttered Zayden up a bit before ending the call.
After ending the call, Becker turned to the shadowy figure beside him and whispered, “Zayden has agreed to our terms.”
