Startled by the sudden noise, Ariana turned toward Adrian. Noticing the color of the wall change, she asked, What did you do? Why did the wall change color?
Adrian, glancing up at the wall, noticed the once platinum-colored surface had transformed into a fluid shade of blue.
A spark of excitement flickered in his eyes. Could there be something hidden inside the wall? he muttered.
With this new theory in mind, Adrian rolled up his sleeves and began to methodically tap along the wall, his ears straining for any abnormal sounds. As he did, faint echoes mirrored his taps from the other side.
The response halted Adrian in his tracks. He understood something now.
This wasnt just an ordinary wall; it might be their ticket out.
Adrian then tapped again, and the corresponding knocks from the other side made him jump.
This is so creepy! Could Moss be on the other side of the wall? he asked Ariana.
