She handed her bag to Matthew and made her way to the fitting room.
Matthew watched her go, smiling. At that moment, Stella’s phone in her bag rang.
Hearing the ring as she neared the fitting room, Stella turned back to Matthew.
“Could you answer it for me, please?”
Matthew agreed and retrieved her phone. It was Clint calling.
He pressed the answer button and greeted the old man.

Matthew gazed towards the fitting room and said into the phone, “I’m here with Stella. She’s trying on her wedding dress. Is there something you need?”

“Just missing Stella. But don’t let me interrupt such a special moment.”
Matthew’s tone was gentle.
“No trouble at all. I’ll send you some photos once she’s done.”
“Alright, sounds good,” Clint said before ending the call.
As Matthew was about to place Stella’s phone back in her bag, he noticed a medicine bottle.
Curiosity piqued, he pulled it out, realizing it wasn’t the medication Mateo had prescribed for her.
